This one-way walk leaves Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, climbs Kewaizaka to Genjiyama Park, and follows the Kuzuharaoka–Daibutsu Hiking Trail to the Great Buddha and Hasedera. Wooded hills link the statue of Minamoto no Yoritomo and remnants of Kamakura's historic passes before the route descends to two of Hase's best-known temples.
