Budoh Snow Resort is a small ski area in Budo, Murakami, the northernmost ski hill in Niigata, known for steep pitches, ungroomed powder and views from the top to the Asahi range, Mount Chokai and the Sea of Japan. It opened in 1988 as a village-run hill and was later run by Murakami city as Budo Ski Area until the city closed it in March 2025. A Tokyo IT company then took over the lease, renamed it and reopened it for the 2025-26 season. Two pair lifts climb about 500 m from 150 m to 650 m, serving the 30-degree Panorama slope, the mogul-prone Dynamic slope and a long beginner road. It lies on Route 7, about 20 minutes from the Asahi Mahoroba interchange.
