Senjumine lies in the Ogasayama hills and can be climbed from near the southern parking area of Fumonji Temple. Near the summit are views of the Enshu-nada Sea, the Kosai mountain range and, in fine weather, Mount Fuji. Tokugawa Ieyasu is said to have walked from Senjumine via Hagiwara Pass to Ryogonji Mountain to reconnoitre Takatenjin Castle.
