Mt. Yadaijin (965 m) stands at the meeting point of Ono Town, Tamura City and Iwaki City in southern Fukushima Prefecture and is included in the Utsukushima 100 Famous Mountains list as a representative peak of the southern Abukuma Highland. Its distinctive overturned-pot profile crowns a grassy summit with an observation deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Spring brings Azuma daisies and azaleas, autumn yields colorful foliage tunnels, and the annual mountain-opening ceremony is held on the first Saturday of June. Three trailheads — Arayashiki, Kawabane and Kojiroi — give access in about an hour and twenty minutes.
