Mt. Monomiyama

Monomiyama is a 327-metre mountain on the border of Seto and Toyota cities in Aichi Prefecture, within the Kaishō Forest that inspired the philosophy of the 2005 Aichi World Expo. Once called "Nanajō-ga-mine" because seven castles could be seen from it, it is said to have served as a Takeda scouting point in the Warring States period. Its summit looks out over the Nagoya skyline and the Yōrō Mountains, and it is listed in "130 Mountains of Aichi."
