Mt. Karasu is a 545 m peak on the boundary between the Iinan-chō Kayumi and Iitaka-chō areas of Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, at the northern edge of the Kahada Gorge near the headwaters of the Kushida River. It is the 10th and lowest summit of the "Matsusaka Kahada Eleven" mountain project, with a beginner-friendly trail reaching the summit in about an hour from the Evergreens Kahadakyō parking lot. The summit offers wide views from the Takami Range on the Nara border out to Ise Bay and the Atsumi Peninsula.
