Mt. Iwaseo is a 232 m peak on the boundary between Tsuruichi-chō and Mineyama-chō in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, the principal summit of the Iwaseo Range overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. The mountain hosts the National Historic Site "Iwaseo-yama Burial Mound Group," a 200-strong assemblage of circular tombs, accumulation-type stone mounds, and keyhole-shaped tumuli built between the 4th and 7th centuries. Its summit area is maintained as Mineyama Park, with notable tumuli such as Himezuka, Tsuruo Shrine Mound 4, and Kagamizuka along the ridge. The peak is included in the Kagawa Prefecture Mountain Guide.
