Mt. Iigadake

Iigadake is a 937.3 m peak in Yunoki of Tokuji, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture — the highest summit of a 2,500-hectare nationally-significant state forest that spreads across northern Tokuji. The slopes carry a mixed cedar, cypress, fir and zelkova forest with valleys famed for autumn colour, and the trailhead is roughly 20 minutes by car from Tokuji IC on the Chūgoku Expressway. It is included in regional lists such as the "Yamaguchi Hyakumeizan", "Bōchō Hyakuzan" and "Mountains of Chūgoku 100".
