Mt. Besshodake is a 358 m satoyama peak straddling the boundary of Bessho in Nakajima, Nanao City and Anamizu Town on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. The summit looks out over the Oku-Noto hills, Nanao Bay and, on clear days, the distant Tateyama Range. A short walk of about 40 minutes from the Besshodake Service Area on the Noto Satoyama Kaidō (via the Besshodake Sky Deck "Noto Yumeterasu") makes it a popular stop for spring sansai foraging and autumn mushroom hunting.
