Mount Nagusa is the 683 m summit of Fukusaki Town in Kanzaki District, Hyōgo Prefecture, the highest point in the town and a sacred mountain recorded as 'Nagusayama' in the 8th-century Harima no Kuni Fudoki. With neighbouring Mount Nagusa-yari and Mount Nagusa-yakushi it forms the trio of the Nagusa Three Mountains, while its slopes carry the curious Tsunagi-iwa and Kasa-iwa rock formations and the Nagusa Falls — forty-eight cascades headed by the 72 m male falls, selected for Hyōgo's Hundred Scenic Places. It is counted in the Hundred Famous Mountains of Kansai and the Hundred Hometown Mountains of Hyōgo.
