Mount Mifune

Mount Mifune is a 138.7 m satoyama hill spanning Kimitsu and Futtsu cities in the central Boso Peninsula, Chiba Prefecture. Its maintained Mifuneyama Amenity Road passes a summit area traditionally associated with the 1567 Battle of Mifuneyama. A circuit around the observation platform is about 1.7 km and takes roughly 45 minutes, with views of Kimitsu and Tokyo Bay.
