Mount Kurotaki (270 m) rises beside the Seto Inland Sea in the Tadanoumi district of Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, within a special-protection zone of Setonaikai National Park. A Kannon-dō shrine just below the rocky summit is said to have been founded by the priest Gyōki in the Tenpyō era (730); it houses an Eleven-faced Kannon statue dated to the Kamakura period and serves as the inner sanctum of Jizō-in Temple at the foot. Thirty-three stone Buddha images line the trail in echo of the Saigoku Kannon pilgrimage. The summit overlooks Ōkuno-shima, the Geiyo Islands, and distant Shikoku, and the peak appears in Japan's Hundred Low Mountains (2017) and Hiroshima Hyakuzan lists.
