Kishidake

岸岳

Rising between Kitahata and Ouchi, the mountain preserves Kishidake Castle, associated with 17 generations of the Hata clan. Thought to date from the early Kamakura period, the prefecturally designated historic site retains moss-covered stone walls. Kishidake Fureaikan at the trailhead provides a rest area, toilets and a castle information board.
