Hut at about 2,080m in the forest belt of the Iimori-kogen area on the Kurosawa-guchi trail on the eastern flank of Mt. Ontake. It lies in Mitake, Kiso Town, Nagano, a few hundred metres from Iimori-kogen Station, the upper terminal of the Ontake Ropeway at the seventh station. Kurosawa-guchi is the most walked of the Ontake pilgrimage routes, continuing past Gyoba Sanso at the seventh station, Nyonindo at the eighth and Ishimuro Sanso at the ninth to the summit at Kengamine. The hut appears in the Ministry of the Environment's national inventory of mountain huts, but no published material giving its operating status or rates could be found.
