白兀平ヒュッテ

Hut at Yugiri Pass, also called Hishihiro Pass, at 845m in the Iozen massif on the Ishikawa-Toyama border; it stands in Saikawashichi, Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. A road reaches the pass, and Ishikawa Prefecture promotes it as a 'drive-plus' outing: about 30 minutes up and 20 minutes back to the summit of Oku-Iozen (939m). From the Kanazawa side it is roughly 120 minutes on foot from Io-no-sato. There is a toilet at the pass. Iozen is a collective name for peaks including Shirahageyama (896m) and Oku-Iozen; the Ishikawa side is designated Iozen Prefectural Natural Park, with beech woods, the Sanja waterfall and the Oike-daira wetland among its attractions.
