A mini loop of about 2 km on 799 m Mount Iwagoya in Shitara, Aichi, climbing from the parking area by the Tsutsumiishi Tunnel to Tsutsumiishi Pass, crossing the summit and dropping back near the start. Built from lava of the Shitara volcano about 20 million years ago, the summit area counts among the three hardest sections of the Tokai Nature Trail, and past ropes, ladders and wires a wide view opens to the Southern Alps and Mount Myojin.
