A loop of about 6.7 km on 669 m Mount Hanao on the border of Nagato and Mine in Yamaguchi, climbing from Ichinoo on the Nagato side and coming down another way. The Ichinoo side has the Hondani trail with big katsura trees and waterfalls and the well-kept Tatara trail, and the broad summit with its stone shrines looks over Akiyoshidai, the mountains of the prefecture and the Sea of Japan to the north.
