From the Kashiwagi trailhead in Hase, Ina, this return climbs the Jizo Ridge past Anazawa-no-kashira, the Matsumine hut and Maruyamadani-no-kashira to the 3,033 m Mount Senjo, the Queen of the Southern Alps. The long ridge gains about 1,900 m, rising from old-growth forest above the treeline onto rocky ground with alpine flowers, and the summit view can reach Mount Fuji and the Northern Alps.
