This loop climbs from Arima Onsen Station to Mount Rokko's highest summit on the Uoya Trail, follows the Rokko traverse west toward the former Gokuraku teahouse, and returns to Arima through Momijidani. It combines views from the 931-metre summit toward Osaka Bay with the beech woodland of the Momijidani valley. Some sections have limited signs or established detours, so use Kobe City's current route map and follow notices on the ground.
