From the first car park at the Mount Nagi trailhead in Nagi, this return passes the Course B/C junction and climbs the Ogamiiwa Course past rocks carved with deities' names, such as the Susanoo rock, to the 1,255 m summit. A former ascetic training ground in the Hyonosen-Ushiroyama-Nagisan Quasi-National Park, it overlooks the town of Nagi from Ogamiiwa, and on clear days the summit view reaches the Sea of Japan, Daisen and the mountains of Shikoku.
