This point-to-point hike climbs Mount Maya by the Aotani Trail, visits the summit and Kikuseidai, then descends the Ueno Trail to the foot of the Maya cable car. Linking the mountain's two representative historic paths, it passes the remains and stone steps of the former Tenjoji temple and reaches a celebrated panorama over Kobe and Osaka Bay.
