This short return route starts at the west trailhead by Buhei Tunnel, crosses Buhei Pass, and climbs Mount Kamagatake. Its sharp, skyward profile has earned Mount Kamagatake the nickname “the Spear of Suzuka,” and it is one of the popular peaks of the Suzuka Mountains alongside Mount Gozaisho.
