On the border of Achi and Nakatsugawa, this return climbs from Bangakuso past the Misaka hut to the 1,739 m Fujimidai, then follows the bamboo-grass ridge to Yokokawayama and Minamisawayama and back. A grassy upland at the southern end of the Central Alps, Fujimidai's summit gives a full circle of views to Mount Ena and the Southern and Central Alps, while the ridge beyond Yokokawayama is quiet and thick with bamboo grass.
