Tenjiku is a 538 m peak in Reihoku Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, and is the highest summit on Amakusa Shimoshima. The summit offers panoramic views over the Yatsushiro Sea toward Nomozaki in Nagasaki, with the volcanic plume of Mount Aso visible on clear days. About 2,000 azaleas bloom around the trail in early May, and the spring-fed Amanogawa stream wells up from groundwater at its base. The peak is listed in both the Shimayama Hyakusen (Japan Island Mountains 100) and the Kumamoto Hyakumeizan.
