Takane-no-Mori

A 580 m mountain in the northern part of Ino Town, Agawa District, Kochi Prefecture, capped by a second-class triangulation point. The wooded summit itself offers little view, but its slopes hold quiet historical interest: at the southern foot stands Mirokuji Mirokudo, enshrining a late-Kamakura seated Miroku Bodhisattva known locally as 'Omiroku-san', and the Naruyama district on the western flank is the birthplace of Tosa washi paper, dotted with paper-related heritage sites and terraced rice fields. The mountain is included in the Kochi Prefecture volume of the Bunken Tozan Guide.
