Shiratake

Twin peaks of white quartz porphyry distinguish Shiratake. Its rocky summit overlooks Aso Bay and Tsushima’s mountains, with Korean mountains visible in clear weather. Its primeval forest, where Japanese and continental plants coexist, is a national natural monument.
