Ōjigatake (234 m) rises on the boundary between Tamano and Kurashiki in Okayama Prefecture, its high point also called Shinwariyama. Part of the Seto Inland Sea National Park, its summit is studded with massive, oddly shaped boulders such as the famous "Nikoniko Iwa" (Smiling Rock) and offers sweeping views of the Great Seto Bridge and the islands of the Inland Sea. Popular for bouldering and paragliding, it appears in several Okayama mountain selections.
