A 172.8 m peak in Wake Town, Okayama Prefecture, also known as Shiroyama. The almost perfectly symmetrical cone seen from the town centre across the Kongō River earned it the nickname "Wake-Fuji", and it forms the southern end of the rocky ridgeline locally branded as the "Wake Alps", which continues north to Kō-no-ue-yama. The summit preserves the ruins of Kitasone Castle, a fortress of the Akashi brothers who served the warlord Ukita Hideie, and its trailhead lies only about an eleven-minute walk from JR Wake Station. The peak is listed in "Nihon Hyaku-Fuji", "Furusato Fuji Hyaku", and the Yamakei "Bunken Tozan Guide: Okayama-ken no Yama".
