Mt. Tsunoo-san (343.7 m) rises in the Yoshida district of Nishiwaki City, Hyōgo Prefecture, towering some 260 m above the surrounding plain. Its summit holds the remains of Tsunoo-yama castle, first laid out in the Nanboku-chō period and expanded in the Sengoku era with a stone-built turret platform, and opens 360-degree views. Two routes climb from the Yoshida-no-Sato Fureai-kan trailhead and from Gohōzan Kōmyō-ji temple in neighbouring Katō City, and the peak is one of the official Nishiwaki 10 Mountains.
