Mt. Notegamiyama

野手上山

Iitate, Fukushima · Elevation 629 m

A 628.6 m peak in Iitate Village, Sōma District, Fukushima Prefecture, in the northern Abukuma uplands. Three stone shrines ringed by venerable pines and a triangulation point stand on the summit, while a newly built lookout commands views all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Selected as one of the Utsukushima Hundred Mountains in 1998, it is climbed from a trailhead on the shore of Fūren Dam.
