Mt. Ishikawa is a 204 m peak straddling Uruma City, Onna Village (Kunigami District), and Kin Town in central Okinawa Island. From the summit the Pacific Ocean is visible to the east and the East China Sea to the west. Three trails (Courses A, B, and C) are maintained on the mountain, and hikers must register at the Okinawa Prefectural Ishikawa Youth House at the foot before climbing. The route winds through an Itajii (Castanopsis sieboldii) forest and is one of central Okinawa Island's most popular trekking destinations.
