Mt. Imano

An 865.2 m peak straddling the boundary between Mihara Village and Tosashimizu City in south-western Kochi Prefecture. Part of the south-western Shikoku mountain range, it carries an air-route surveillance radar (ARSR) station operated by MLIT's Osaka Aviation Bureau just below the summit, while a cluster of broadcast towers occupies the slightly higher (868 m) eastern peak. The mountain is cloaked in a designated scenic-forest preserve and is listed in 'Shikoku Hyakuzan' and 'Nihon no Sangaku Hyōkō 1003-zan'.
