Mt. Dake is a 331 m peak in eastern Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, lying within the Lake Shinji Hokuzan Prefectural Natural Park and selected for the Chūgoku Hyakumeizan. Recorded in the 8th-century Izumo no Kuni Fudoki as 'Fujikimi-no-Takayama,' it served as a beacon hill in the Nara period and as a Matsue-domain lookout in the Edo period. The summit holds Fujikimi-jinja and Taki-jinja shrines, with an observation deck commanding views of Nakaumi, Mt. Daisen, Lake Shinji, and the Shimane Peninsula range.
