Mount Takamori

Mount Takamori is a 634-metre peak straddling Seiyo City and Uwajima City in Ehime Prefecture, part of the Hokeji Range and crowned with a first-class triangulation point. Sitting midway along the ridge between Hanaga Pass and Nofuku Pass via Hokeji Pass, it is reached on maintained trails in roughly ninety minutes to two hours. The south aspect of the summit looks out over terraced fields and the ria coast of Uwa-kai, and the peak is recognised as a geosite of the Shikoku Seiyo Geopark and listed on the Shikoku 100 Meizan.
