Mount Irazu is a 1,336.2 m peak in Tsuno Town, Takaoka District, Kōchi Prefecture, holding the source spring of the Shimanto — known as Japan's last clear river. The name (literally "do-not-enter mountain") commemorates the Tosa Domain's Edo-period designation of the slopes as an Otomeyama where logging and public entry were banned, and the source-area forest is now managed by the Shimanto Forest Management Office. The peak appears in Ittō Sankakuten Hyakumeizan, Shikoku Hyakumeizan, and Shikoku Hyakuzan.
