Unstaffed public emergency shelter deep in the Oku-Nikko backcountry of Nikko National Park, in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. It stands at about 2,290m on the ridge linking Yusengatake and Nenakusayama, roughly 1km north of Yusengatake, and is managed by Tochigi Prefecture's Kensei Environment and Forestry Office. The prefecture's climbing guide gives its capacity as 20 and also lists it under the name Yusengatake Hinangoya. The approach starts from the Konsei Tunnel parking area (1,843m) on the Konsei road section of National Route 120, crossing Konsei Pass and Yusengatake. Per the prefecture's mountain grading table, the round trip from that parking area over Yusengatake to Nenakusayama takes 7.0 hours over 9.3km at fitness level 3 and difficulty B, while the traverse continuing from Nenakusayama down past Nikkozawa Onsen and Kaniyu to Meotobuchi is 8.2 hours over 14.0km. The Konsei road closes for the winter. The hut is one of the few places to take refuge along this long ridge, but the prefecture describes it as a bare-minimum emergency facility with no toilet and no water source, and strictly prohibits planned overnight stays.
