On Otabiyama in Shirahama, Himeji, this short return climbs the ridge path from near the southern foot to the 140 m summit with its triangulation point and shelter. The southern foot is the festival ground of the Nada fighting festival of Matsubara Hachiman Shrine, rhyolite outcrops hold the Frog Rock, and the summit gives an almost complete circle of views over Himeji Castle, the Harima Sea and the mouth of the Ichikawa River.
