This loop begins in Yōrō Park, reaches the trailhead above Yōrō Falls, and climbs through Mount Sanpō, Sasahara Pass, and Mount Ogura to Mount Yōrō before returning by the 826-metre north-ridge peak and Asebihira. Open ground at Mount Ogura’s summit park and Asebihira provides broad views across the Nōbi Plain and its surrounding mountains.
