This Northern Alps out-and-back route runs from Ogizawa via Osawa Hut, the Harinoki Snow Valley, and Harinoki Pass–Harinoki Hut to Mount Harinoki. Harinoki Snow Valley is one of Japan's three great snow valleys, and conditions when snow remains require appropriate equipment and judgement. The 2,821 m summit has a 360-degree view of Lake Kurobe and the Northern Alps. Snow, stream-crossing, and hut conditions change, so check Harinoki Hut's current information before departure.
