A walk of about 4 km from the parking area near the Natsuake trailhead in Matsusaka, Mie, climbing past the Fudo hut and the Sekison Daigongen shrine to the 730 m Second Peak and on to the 819.4 m summit of Mount Shirai, then back. Shirai counts among the Ise Three Peaks with Horisaka and Tsubone, is one of the Kinki 100 Mountains, and splits its water between the Kushida River to the south and the Sakanai River to the north.
