From Hakusan Shrine in Noisshiki, Gifu, this short return climbs the approach path known as the fifteen bends in about 30 minutes to the 192 m Gongenyama, crowned by the shrine's inner sanctuary. A point on the ridge leading toward Mount Kinka, its summit has a golden torii and views over Gifu city toward Nagoya and the Yoro range.
