This short out-and-back follows the grassland path from Daikanbo Parking to Daikanbo Lookout on the headland historically called Tomigahana. From about 936 metres on the northern rim of the Aso Caldera, it overlooks Aso Valley, the five peaks of Aso and the surrounding grasslands, with a chance of a sea of clouds in suitable conditions.
