Mt. Ishidōgaoka, 680.1 m, lies on the border of Ibaraki City and Toyono Town in northern Osaka Prefecture and holds the only first-class triangulation point of the Hokusetsu range, marking the highest point in Ibaraki City. In the Edo period it was one of the 'rice-price signalling mountains' (旗振り山) that relayed prices from the Dōjima Rice Exchange toward Kyoto and Osaka via hand-flag semaphore. The summit lies on the private grounds of the Ibaraki-Kōgen Country Club and is not served by any officially maintained trail — visitors must check in with the clubhouse — but on clear days it commands sweeping views of the Minoo range and Mt. Nose-Myōken-san, and the peak is listed among the Osaka 50 Mountains.
